DOCUMENTATION AND DISSEMINATION:
The publications covered almost all the topics relating to the rehabilitation services in the field of mental retardation. Plans are afoot to develop textbooks to meet the needs of the clients as well as professionals.

As a back up for the HRD and R & D programmes, the Institute has a rich collection of 9255 documents with a subscription to about 83 professional journals. (as of October, 2003)

In the area of dissemination, the Institute developed awareness posters, video films, educational folders, multimedia CDs. It brings out bi-monthly awareness bulletin "Mentard" and quartely Newsletter.
